On-Site Church Live Sound Engineer Needed Every Other Sunday — Allen & Heath SQ-7 The Heights Baptist Church - 4.6 Richardson, TX Job Details Contract $300 a day 21 hours ago Qualifications Music mixing Equipment diagnostics Live event audio projects Technical user customer support Live production performance Full Job Description On-Site Church Live Sound Engineer Needed Every Other Sunday — Allen & Heath SQ-7 We are seeking an experienced live sound engineer to support two Sunday morning church services using an Allen & Heath SQ-7 mixing console. The engineer will mix audio for our Classic Worship Service at 9:00 a.m. and our Spanish Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. In addition to running sound, this person will help troubleshoot and resolve minor technical or user-related issues that may arise throughout the morning. This is an on-site contract position scheduled every other Sunday for an initial two-month period. Responsibilities Operate the Allen & Heath SQ-7 for both services Mix worship music, speaking microphones, playback, videos, and other service elements Monitor and adjust audio levels throughout each service Assist with soundcheck and system preparation before the first service Troubleshoot minor audio, equipment, and user-related technical issues Support staff members, worship leaders, musicians, and production volunteers Help ensure a smooth technical transition between the Classic and Spanish services Ideal Candidate Previous experience mixing live sound for churches, concerts, or events Comfortable operating an Allen & Heath SQ-7 or similar SQ-series console Strong understanding of signal flow, microphones, monitors, gain structure, and digital mixing Able to troubleshoot calmly and efficiently during live services Dependable, punctual, professional, and easy to work with Comfortable supporting two different worship styles and service environments Schedule and Contract Details On-site position Every other Sunday Initial contract term: two months
