- About the
Role:
- Technical Writers use project management and communication skills to create, update, and publish a variety of technical documentation used across the organization in order to help ensure policies, procedures, and best practices are understood and followed.
About You:
- + Project management, editing, and technical writing experience (Required) + Note How many years — Some experience with desktop publishing software (Preferred) + Some experience with web design/HTML editing software (Preferred) + Some experience in creating forms with form fields, including the use of Acrobat, JavaScript, or similar programming languages (Preferred) + Financial industry experience in both lending and deposits (Preferred) + Ability to create or revise technical/support documentation with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts providing input + Ability to manage time and prioritize workloads to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet or exceed expectations + Ability to take initiative on a given task or project and persist with it to completion + Experience in document formatting, reviewing, editing, and proofreading + Strong attention to detail + Experience in and ability to understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject matter, particularly as it pertains to bank systems and the banking industry + Strong communication skills in a variety of different communication modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and at all levels of the organization + Strong active listening skills + Ability to effectively develop relationships + Analytical and problem-solving skills + Advanced use of programs in Microsoft Office Suite, such as styles and content controls in Word and using formulas or pivot tables in Excel Travel Requirements + Occasional The pay range for this role is $22.
