Summary:
The main function of a technical writing specialist is to develop and create accurate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) technical documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect data and testing results and then transcribe these results into statistical software Ensure all data collected meets the requirements of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Review documents and data sheets for legibility, clarity, and accuracy Identify GDP errors on data sheets and work with engineering team to resolve them Assist in the maintenance of documentation in a standard format following established guidelines Organize the testing results & data sheets, track testing progress, and generate status reports Partner with team members to facilitate clarification or explanation of reference materials and technical documentation Provide logistical and miscellaneous support to the engineering team conducting device testing Other duties assigned by
Leadership Additional Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field 0-2 years of experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat preferred Excellent editing and proofreading skills Strict attention to detail Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) or a proven track record of quickly learning policies such as these Proficient in technical writing Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
