Senior UX Writer and Content Designer _corporate_fare_ Google _place_ Mountain View, CA, USA
  • Mid•Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.
  • Minimum qualifications:
  • + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 6 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, marketing, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects. + Experience on UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects. + Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • + Experience with AI prompt writing/Model UX.
+ Experience with localization and accessibility best practices. + Experience shaping content design in complex workflows and understanding unique product constraints. + Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including legal and 3P teams, by managing feedback, aligning large groups, and communicating rationale effectively. + Ability to provide both strategic direction and UX writing to create clear, concise user experiences across multiple platforms and a large ecosystem.

You'll employ craft, empathy, logic, and data to inform writing choices and create a unified voice across the Android ecosystem. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$209,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.   • Responsibilities
  • + Lead content design for key workstreams, scope opportunities, define the direction, and deliver high-quality UX deliverables that shape product roadmaps and experiences.
+ Drive UX content design frameworks, including principles and patterns. + Bring clarity to ambiguous product problems, shaping them into UX solutions. + Influence UX and cross-functional partnerships to align stakeholder expectations, drive understanding and alignment, and advocate for user-centric content experiences. + Influence the development of priorities across projects to balance tactical and strategic efforts in alignment with larger project goals.
