As an Engineering Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of the Documentation and Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. Wide range DOE (around $50+/hour) What's the Job? Develop, edit, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation supporting manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, and operational activities. Establish and drive documentation best practices, standards, templates, and governance processes across the organization. Partner with subject matter experts to create clear, accurate, and user-focused work instructions, SOPs, policies, technical reports, and process documentation. Standardize document structures, formatting, terminology, revision practices, and approval workflows to improve consistency and usability. Support the implementation and maintenance of document control processes, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, document control, quality documentation, or knowledge management. Experience developing technical documentation in manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, software, or other technical environments. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and document organization skills. Experience working with document management systems, collaboration platforms, or quality management systems.
