Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a full-time, on-site Technical Writer to join our team at our Fort Myers, FL office. In this role, you will create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for Saminco Solutions LLC and American Traction Solutions Inc. You will work directly with hardware and engineering teams on-site to translate complex technical concepts into accessible user manuals, product specifications, and maintenance guides. Key Responsibilities Collaborate face-to-face with on-site engineers and subject matter experts to gather technical specifications. Develop and update equipment operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, installation manuals, and technical specifications. Translate complex engineering and technical concepts into clear, accessible documentation for end-users. Review, edit, and standardize technical publications, drawings, and workflow diagrams. Take photographs of products and utilize tools to edit, crop and edit to embed into technical literature. Capture high-quality photographs of hardware and utilize Adobe or other applications to crop, enhance, and format these visual assets for seamless integration into technical literature. Establish documentation standards and document control systems.
