Technical Writer (ONSITE) Job Description The Maintenance Documentation Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team. This position ensures accurate documentation, efficient communication, and effective planning to maintain operational excellence across facilities and equipment. Responsibilities Create and standardize maintenance procedure documentation. Ensure accurate documentation and efficient communication within the maintenance team. Support the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team by maintaining operational excellence across facilities and equipment. Essential Skills Proficiency in Maximo, CMMS, and maintenance planning software. Experience in technical writing and document control. Ability to create and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing is a plus. Ability to consolidate documentations and create standard operating procedures. Work Environment This position involves working both at a desk and within a manufacturing environment. The role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity lasting 12-24 months, with negotiable PTO and holiday benefits. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pensacola, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
