Writes help information available to customers online, or clear explanations of company policies. Supports internal communication among different technical, engineering and scientific specialists working on a project or product. Creates product documentation, and provides input for improving product design.
Vista Innovative Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois.
Responsibilities Include:
Works closely with business application stakeholder(s) to define and document requirements Creates and builds out user assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections Writes about technical subjects for technical and nontechnical audiences Test and updates existing documentation

Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Self-motivated to learn, troubleshoot, and complete projects.
