Job Description

As an Experienced Technical Writer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing product cut-sheets, brochures, technical, and operational manuals. You will ensure that all literature complies with relevant regulatory requirements and standards. Additionally, this role involves supporting regulatory project management and conducting research to maintain up-to-date compliance across all documentation. You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Muncie, IN location with an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will contribute to the clarity, accuracy, and compliance of Honeywell's product literature, supporting both customer understanding and regulatory adherence, while driving regulatory projects to successful completion. YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, communications, or related field. Proven experience creating, editing, and publishing technical and marketing literature including manuals, brochures, and cut-sheets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to product documentation. Experience supporting or managing regulatory projects and conducting compliance research. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather and verify technical and regulatory information. Experience with documentation and publishing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, MadCap Flare, or similar software.

Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality management systems in technology or manufacturing sectors. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Familiarity with AI-driven language translation software and ability to leverage such tools for collaborative documentation updates. Experience reviewing product certificates and reports to ensure data clarity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, edit, and publish product cut-sheets, brochures, technical manuals, and operation manuals. Ensure all documentation complies with applicable regulatory standards and internal quality requirements. Review product certificates and reports to ensure data clarity and accuracy. Support regulatory project management activities, including planning, tracking, and reporting. Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry standards to maintain compliance across documentation. Identify, find, and utilize AI-driven language translation software solutions to enable collaborative updates and enhance documentation accessibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, quality, and regulatory affairs to gather accurate information and ensure documentation quality and compliance. Maintain and update existing literature to reflect product updates, regulatory changes, and improvements.
