Annapolis Junction Role/Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, training manuals, and technical publications. Maintain a current internal documentation library for an AWS cross functional team.
- Apply basic grammar and technical writing concepts to author clear, structured copy based on engineering drawings, technical documents, and consultations with engineers/SMEs.
- Prepare clear reports, responses, customer communications, briefings, and presentations targeted to a wide range of audiences.
- Partner directly with developers, engineers, and system owners to gather technical information and produce quality documentation, analytic tradecraft methodologies, and end-user training materials.
- Assisting the operational project lead with daily functions
Education & Related Experience:
Bachelor's degree with six years of experience, or a high school diploma and 10 years of experience. Experience with Confluence, Jira and Sharepoint More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed.OVERTIME STATEMENT
40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.BONUS STATEMENT
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
