Our client, an automotive industry leader, is seeking an Automotive Technical Writer to join their team. As an Automotive Technical Writer, you will be part of the Documentation Support Department supporting the Service and Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

$28-34 What's the Job? Create, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for vehicle service, repair, and diagnostics. Translate complex engineering specifications, CAD models, and prototype information into clear, user-friendly content. Collaborate with engineering, product development, and service teams to gather accurate information and validate content. Manage documentation lifecycle using authoring tools and content management systems, ensuring version control and accessibility. Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards. What's Needed? Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, diagnostic specialist, or related field with a strong understanding of vehicle systems. Proven ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts, and translate them into clear documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for documentation and data analysis. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and style. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity in all work performed. What's in it for me?
