Parts Catalog Writer / Technical Illustrator

Multitech, Inc. is a technical publication company that creates and maintains Service and Operator Manuals, Kit installation instructions, Parts Catalogs and training material for our client's manufactured products. If you like variety in your job and have the ability to research and process technical data, as well as the ability to work with CAD based software creating technical illustrations. We are currently looking to hire a 'Parts Catalog Writer & Technical Illustrator'. This position will be responsible for researching and writing parts catalogs as well as creating & updating technical illustrations, schematics, and creating CAD based renderings as needed. In this position the successful candidate will use client supplied technical information to create / update equipment parts catalogs which will include researching technical data, analyzing information, writing and mark-up of books & illustrations for change. The desired candidate will also have various CAD package experience (i.e. AutoCAD, Creo Parametric, Solid Works, and IsoDraw) and be able to draw in 2D isometric orientations, as well as have experience working with CAD renderings and graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
