As a Technical Writer withAMERICAN
SYSTEMS, you will have an opportunity to do the following: Write, rewrite and/or edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications. Impart a wide range of knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in technical fields and related disciplines gained through wide exposure to weapons systems operations and/or test and evaluation processes and procedures. Confer with authors and subject matter experts to recommend edits to technical documentation to include review of content for completeness, accuracy and correctness of language use. Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.Qualifications:
Active SECRET clearance. Must be able to work under general direction and independently determine and develop approaches to technical documentation production. BS/BA and 5-7 years of related experience. Previous technical writing experience supportingNSWC DET
WS or other NSWC Detachments is highly desired.Pay Transparency Statement:
