This role supports proposal managers, writers, and business development teams by coordinating schedules, maintaining compliance, and ensuring proposal materials are organized, accurate, and submission-ready. The Proposal Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping proposal efforts on track, supporting collaboration, and maintaining proposal quality in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, write, and edit high-quality proposal content for Federal Government opportunities, ensuring clarity, compliance, and compelling messaging. Translate technical, management, and past performance information into clear, persuasive, and customer-focused narratives. Analyze RFPs, RFIs, Sources Sought notices, Statements of Work (SOW), and Performance Work Statements (PWS) to understand requirements and develop responsive written content. Collaborate with proposal managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical teams to gather information and shape proposal responses. Lead or support content development for key proposal sections (e.g., technical approach, management approach, past performance). Edit and refine proposal content for consistency, voice, grammar, and alignment with win themes and evaluation criteria. Maintain proposal schedules, action items, and compliance matrices in support of overall submission efforts. Format proposal documents to ensure consistency with templates, branding, and solicitation requirements. Manage proposal files and version control using SharePoint and other collaboration tools. Support proposal reviews (e.g., Pink, Red, Gold teams) by incorporating feedback and strengthening content through multiple review cycles. Assist with final proposal production and submission activities, including electronic uploads. Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Required Qualifications Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple writing assignments and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience Preferred Certifications APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification (Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional), or willingness to obtain. Shipley Associates Proposal Certification (e.g., Proposal Writing or Capture Training), or willingness to obtain. Experience Two (2) or more years of experience supporting proposal writing, content development, or similar document-driven efforts.
