Company Overview McCravy, Newlon, & Clardy Law Firm is a dedicated injury and nationwide disability firm that has been serving injured individuals in the upstate of South Carolina since 1995. With 9 offices across 8 locations, we embody our motto: "When You Need Help, We're Ready!". Summary We are seeking a Medical Summary Specialist in our Social Security Department to join our team in the upstate of South Carolina. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our legal team by providing comprehensive medical summaries that support our clients' cases. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of helping those in need. Responsibilities Review and analyze medical records to prepare detailed summaries. Collaborate with attorneys to understand case requirements and medical needs. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices and relevant regulations. Conduct research on medical terminology and clinical practices as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and data collection processes. Assist in the preparation of reports for legal proceedings. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to gather necessary information. Stay updated on developments in clinical research and medical regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (English or medical) is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical practices. Proven experience in clinical research or related roles is preferred. Excellent data analysis and writing skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines.
