A Technical Writer writes product instructions, user manuals or other material that helps to explain complex information or procedures. Writes help information available to customers online, or clear explanations of company policies. Supports internal communication among different technical, engineering and scientific specialists working on a project or product. Creates product documentation, and provides input for improving product design.

Job Description
What you can expect:
- The writer will analyze parts catalogs, electronic publications and illustrations requirements
- Changes will be made to documents using a variety of content management systems
- Technical Writers will learn to use unique software and methods to create products
- Technical writers review documents for accuracy, content and format
- This is office work in an air conditioned/heated building.

- Technical Writers receive direction from a program manager to meet production schedules
Basic Requirements:
- Confidence navigating computers and software/systems
- Ability to multi-task in a Windows operating system environment (e.g. creating folders, databases).
- Skilled at using MS products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong reading and comprehension skills
- Extremely high attention-to-detail; candidate must work well in a team environment
- Must interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and technical manuals
- High School diploma or GED The
EXCEPTIONAL
Candidate will have:- Mechanical aptitude (Any field: A&P, avionics, automotive, etc.)
- Experience with using maintenance documents
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- The capability to collaborate with other to improve process and instill quality
- Knowledge of markup languages and basic programming skills (e.g. DITA, XML, JAVA and etc.)
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and technical manuals Include with your
