WHAT YOU'LL DO
Be the face of MCR for new hires and team members; exemplify MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR). Collects and organizes information for preparation of standard operating procedures, internal controls, user manuals, training materials, installation guidelines, proposals, and reports. Studies data and conducts in-depth interviews with subject matter experts to understand the product, controls, or procedures. Produces documentation and technical specifications for internal controls, procedures, and other manuals in the casino. Edits user manuals, internal controls, standard operating procedures, special reports, or any other guest deliverables and documents. Designs usable "documents", whether printed on paper or presented electronically over the Internet/WWW, in Word, in presentation software such as PowerPoint, or in some other medium. Tests and evaluates documents for usability. Manages document production. Maintains the casino-wide Organization Chart in Visio. Prepares document routing forms for executive approval. Maintains the Compliance Department policy tracking/routing form approval sheet. Evaluates technical documents for regulatory compliance. Evaluates marketing promotion submissions for regulatory compliance. Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel. Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, English, Business, Accounting or related field. Minimum three (3) years on-the-job experience in field with one (1) year experience writing/editing for publication and one (1) year writing/editing involving technical, compliance, and/or scientific information required. Minimum one (1) year on-the-job working knowledge of Casino Compliance requirements required, with three (3) years preferred.
