$17.84 to $24.96

Shift:

Daytime Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Internship About the Role Kwik Trip's Information Technology Department is seeking an IT Communications Intern to join our IT Knowledge Management team. In this role, you'll help create and improve technical documentation that supports employees across the organization. You'll gain hands-on experience in technical writing, knowledge management, content creation, and IT communications while working with technical teams and business partners. What You'll Do Create, update, and maintain knowledge base articles and other IT documentation. Gather information from subject matter experts and business partners to ensure content accuracy. Transform technical information into clear, user-friendly content for a variety of audiences. Review and standardize documentation using established templates, style guides, and knowledge management standards. Improve the organization, consistency, and searchability of knowledge content. Identify outdated, duplicate, or missing documentation and recommend improvements. Support onboarding, training, self-service, and IT support initiatives through effective documentation. Incorporate feedback to continuously improve content quality and usability. Assist with documentation projects that support knowledge management and AI-driven search initiatives. What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Communications, Technical Writing, English, Information Technology, Training & Development, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to explain complex information in a clear, concise manner. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Even Better If You Have Experience with ServiceNow, content management systems, or knowledge management platforms. Experience creating process documentation, flowcharts, or diagrams. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat. Interest in technology, business processes, and improving user experiences through better documentation. Work Schedule This internship is expected to last approximately six months, with potential for extension based on business needs. Students must be available to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic semester and may have opportunities for additional hours during school breaks. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate academic commitments. Hours will be determined based on business needs and the intern's availability.
