This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft compelling visual stories through expert editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with brand objectives and resonates with diverse audiences. Your technical proficiency and storytelling prowess will be essential in delivering high-quality videos that elevate our content strategy and captivate viewers. Responsibilities Review and organize 40+ hours of source footage and identify the best material Edit finished videos in Adobe Premiere Pro that follow our brand guide Clean up audio, including echo and room-noise removal Correct shadows and lighting, and apply finishing touches such as vignettes Add simulated camera movement to punched-in shots so static footage feels dynamic Manage your own queue and deliver edits ready for review Edit and assemble raw footage into cohesive, visually appealing videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid. Enhance videos with color correction, color grading, motion graphics, and visual effects to ensure a polished final product. Incorporate audio elements, sound effects, and music tracks to create immersive video experiences. Manage media assets efficiently through media editing tools like Adobe Bridge and FTP systems for seamless content management. Collaborate with creative teams to develop storyboards, visual concepts, and video storytelling strategies that align with project goals. Conduct filming sessions when required, utilizing lighting techniques for optimal video quality and capturing compelling footage. Apply technical skills in photo editing, photo manipulation, and videography to support content creation efforts across multiple platforms. Qualifications Proven experience in video editing and post-production workflows using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer. Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles and the ability to craft engaging narratives through video content. Proficiency in motion graphics, typography, 2D animation, color correction/editing, and audio/video processing techniques. Familiarity with media management systems such as FTP servers and content management platforms. Technical proficiency in lighting for video production, filming techniques, and photo editing tools like Adobe Lightroom and Capture One. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team environment.
