Job Description

The Atlanta Gladiators are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Off-Season Video Editor Intern to help bring previous seasons back to life through engaging video content. This internship is ideal for someone looking to build a sports editing portfolio and gain hands-on experience creating content for a professional sports organization. Using footage captured throughout previous seasons, this intern will edit and repurpose content into videos for social media, the team website, game presentation, marketing campaigns, and other digital platforms. They will also assist with larger creative projects as needed, helping tell the story of the Gladiators during the offseason.
Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X. Repurpose existing game footage into engaging offseason content. Create videos for the Atlanta Gladiators website, email marketing, game operations, and promotional campaigns. Assist with larger video projects, including season recaps, hype videos, ticket campaigns, and special initiatives. Organize and manage video assets. Stay up to date on social media trends and identify opportunities to adapt them using existing footage. Collaborate with departments on creative concepts and content planning. Meet project deadlines while maintaining the Atlanta Gladiators' brand standards.
Qualifications:
Experience editing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software. Strong understanding of short-form social media content and current digital trends. Ability to tell compelling stories through editing, pacing, music, and graphics. Creative mindset with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment. Interest in sports, hockey, or live event entertainment is preferred but not required.
