Join our client's dynamic team as a freelance video editor, where you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of engaging marketing, corporate, and educational video projects. This flexible role allows you to showcase your editing skills and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines. These projects are primarily remote, but candidates must be in the Chicago area for file and footage handoffs as needed. Responsibilities Collaborate with producers to transform raw footage into compelling video content. Ensure all edits meet brand and editorial standards, delivering polished results. Efficiently apply templates across series-based projects and manage multiple deadlines. Deliver initial cuts and revisions promptly, integrating feedback within a structured review process. Skills Over five years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant interviews, educational content, multi-cam editing, and corporate samples. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage freelance scheduling independently. Reliable availability for projects with clear deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience with After Effects and multi-camera editing. Comfortable working with multiple reviewers and efficiently incorporating feedback.
