We are seeking a creative, experienced video storyteller to join our marketing and communications team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video content and possess strong technical skills in video editing and post-production. SUMMARY This role is responsible for producing high quality media, primarily video and podcasts, for BCSP communications and marketing needs. This role requires planning, shooting, editing, and assisting with launching media across various platforms. This person will be working and collaborating closely with multiple teams and departments to turn ideas and concepts into finished multimedia pieces. Occasional to frequent travel is a requirement.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Assist in planning and pre-production of projects. Transport, set up and operate media production equipment (cameras, audio, lighting, and other gear) on-location and in BCSP studios. Revise audio and video projects based on feedback from stakeholders. Collaborate with other BCSP team members to develop content ideas. Program and operate teleprompter equipment. Edit audio and video segments on a variety of digital formats. Organize and maintain audio and video library.
QUALIFICATIONS
An Associate's degree or higher in a video production related field or a Bachelor's degree from a non-video production related field, combined with demonstrated experience. 3 years of proven experience in audio/video production and editing. Working knowledge of Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier, and other Creative Suite applications.
