Media & Content Creator Internship

Toravia Studios is seeking a highly creative, visually driven Media & Social Media Content Creator to join our internal team. This role is an immersive, hands-on opportunity designed for a content specialist, videographer, or digital marketer looking to run the visual footprint of an elite, high-end recording studio and independent record label.

PLEASE NOTE

This is strictly a Content Creation and Digital Marketing position. This is NOT an Audio Engineering or Music Producer role. We are looking for a storyteller who is passionate about video editing, graphic design, social media trends, and building a community around a premium creative brand.

Responsibilities Content Capture:

Film high-quality, behind-the-scenes footage during major recording sessions, artist rollouts, and daily studio operations without disrupting the creative environment.

Short-Form Video Editing:

Edit fast-paced, high-engagement vertical videos natively optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Graphic Design:

Create visually striking promotional assets, including flyers, upcoming release announcements, and social media graphics that align with our premium aesthetic.

Social Media Management:

Curate and maintain the active grid aesthetic and posting schedule across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including writing punchy captions and engaging with the community.

Brand Growth:

Brainstorm innovative content concepts, viral trends, and video challenges specifically tailored to the local and independent music community.

Required Skills & Experience Experience:

1-2 years of proven experience capturing and editing short-form video or managing social media channels (portfolio required).

Mobile Video/Camera Proficiency:

Deep knowledge of mobile video capture (iPhone/Android setups), lighting, and stabilization techniques to ensure a clean visual look.

Software Proficiency:

Experience with editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, as well as graphic design apps like Canva or Adobe Photoshop.

Social Media Native:

Up-to-the-minute knowledge of current audio trends, algorithms, and visual pacing on TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Communication & Vibes:

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to remain professional and respectful around recording artists, team members, and high-profile clients.

Location:

Must be reliably based in the Minneapolis area with dependable transportation to the studio.
