Full Job Description The Role:

Local Leap is searching for a part-time Social Media Video Editor to edit and produce high-quality videos for platforms like TikTok, Facebook/Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate has strong editorial judgment, knowledge of social media best practices, and the ability to ensure high-quality output that aligns with our clients' brand and style guidelines.

Job Type:

Part-Time (approximately 20 hours per week) Remote/Work from home The ideal candidate is available for in-person staff meetings every Friday in the Allen, TX area. Requirements Proven experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred) Comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish A self-starter who can identify, prioritize, and accomplish tasks independently Good storytelling instincts and strong attention to detail Must have high-speed internet service

Key Responsibilities:

Create engaging short-form videos for social media from raw client footage Add music, voiceovers, graphics, and effects Manage and organize video assets Ensure logical sequencing and smooth flow Deliver polished, publish-ready content Collaborate with our team to generate content ideas and ensure alignment with SEO strategies
