Job Description:
is reimagining how we enable our global sales, customer success, and partner teams to drive customer value. The Video Editor / Animator plays a critical role in shaping how our stories are experienced by transforming business concepts, product narratives, and real-world outcomes into engaging, high-impact enablement content. In this role, you will create compelling, narrative-driven video experiences for Autodesk Explore, our next-generation enablement platform. You will create documentary-style video and high-end motion graphics to deliver content that is both emotionally engaging and instructionally effective for micro-enablement. This role requires strong editorial instincts and advanced animation skills. You will work across interviews, live-action footage, and fully designed sequences, leveraging 2D and 3D motion graphics to explain complex ideas, elevate storytelling, and bring product narratives to life. Responsibilities
  • Edit high-quality video content from raw footage to final delivery, including interviews, documentary-style segments, explainers, and micro-enablement modules
  • Shape compelling narrative arcs using documentary storytelling techniques, especially from interview-driven and unscripted content
  • Translate complex product, sales, and business concepts into clear, engaging visual stories
  • Design and produce motion graphics and animation (2D and 3D) that enhance storytelling and enablement impact
  • Create high-end product explainers, combining live-action footage with graphics and animation
  • Apply advanced color grading, sound design, and finishing techniques to elevate production quality
  • Work across a variety of visual and storytelling styles (documentary, instructional, branded, narrative-driven enablement)
  • Collaborate with enablement experience designers, writers, SMEs, producers, and stakeholders to bring concepts to life
  • Integrate graphics, typography, and visual systems that align with brand and platform standards
  • Deliver well-organized project files and assets, ensuring smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Iterate on content based on feedback, performance data, and evolving enablement needs
  • Stay current with emerging tools, techniques, and trends in video, animation, and AI-assisted production Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion design/animation
  • Demonstrated expertise in documentary-style editing, including working with interviews and real-world footage
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Maya/Cinema 4D/Blender, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
  • Strong skills in color grading, pacing, visual storytelling, and sound integration
  • Proven ability to create high-quality motion graphics, including typography, UI-style visuals, and animated explainers
  • Experience working with 3D elements to enhance storytelling and product visualization
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and visually compelling content
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative and business teams Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in documentary filmmaking, branded content, or corporate motion graphics
  • Experience creating micro-enablement or short-form instructional content
  • Strong understanding of story structure, pacing, and emotional impact
  • Experience producing product explainer videos or SaaS/technical storytelling content
  • Familiarity with sales enablement or enterprise enablement environments
  • Experience incorporating data, UI, or product visuals into motion graphics
