Who is Forge Relations Forge Relations is a full-service marketing agency built within the firearms, defense, and outdoor industry. We operate as our clients' marketing department, just not in the office next door. We embed ourselves so deeply into each brand's culture and voice that every video we cut is the brand. We are a tight team that works hard, moves fast, thrives in controlled chaos, and believes ownership is non-negotiable. The Job at a Glance You take raw footage and turn it into a finished video: cut, color, sound, and motion graphics, start to finish You work across Forge's full client roster, from monthly retainer content to major launches You use AI tools to work faster and raise the bar on your output, not to cut corners You know how content paces and trends on social media, and you cut with that in mind You move fast, manage your own time, and aren't afraid to speak up with a better idea You report to Forge's production and editing leadership, inside a pipeline that does not wait around You own the edit, start to finish. What You Will Own Video assembly on every project you're assigned Color grading, sound design, and mixing on your own cuts Motion graphics and overlays that meet Forge and client brand standards Turnaround on retainer deliverables and launch content Your own project organization inside Forge's file and review systems Key Responsibilities Editing Assemble raw footage into finished long-form and short-form video across the client roster Cut for pacing, story, and platform trends, not just technical correctness Work primarily in DaVinci Resolve, using AI-assisted tools wherever they genuinely save time Manage multiple projects and deadlines at once without quality loss Color, Sound, and Motion Graphics Color grade every project to a finished, client-ready standard Design and mix audio, including music, sound effects, and dialogue cleanup Build motion graphics and overlays: lower thirds, titles, callouts, and brand elements Client and Team Coordination Work from Forge's brand standards and creative direction on every project Route cuts through our internal systems for review and revisions Take feedback and turn revisions around fast Requirements 3 to 5 years of professional video editing experience Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve Able to close out a full project solo, not just your piece of it Strong sense of pacing and story, with a real handle on social media trends and platform conventions Experience or working knowledge of firearms preferred Self-directed and able to perform in an extremely fast-paced agency environment Comfortable speaking up with ideas, not just executing what's handed to you Reel or portfolio required Ideal Candidate Real-world firearms or outdoor industry experience or familiarity Already builds AI tools into your workflow and can show what that looks like Background in an agency or high-volume production environment

$50,000 to $60,000 per year, based on experience
