This person will run the camera on shoots and then edit the footage into finished videos.
Most projects will involve vehicles:
dealership inventory, vehicle walkarounds, feature highlights, service and repair content, and promotional videos. The right candidate has real automotive video experience, knows professional camera gear, and can turn raw footage into a polished final product using Adobe Premiere Pro. This is an in-house role based on-site in Chino, CA. The schedule will vary by project. Some shoots will happen during normal business hours. Others will require early mornings, nights, or weekends. Some travel is required. What You Will Do Film automotive content, including vehicle walkarounds, feature and spec highlights, inventory videos, and dealership or service department promotional videos Set up and operate professional video cameras (Nikon and/or RED camera systems) on location and in studio settings Check lighting, audio, and framing before and during each shoot, including reflective vehicle surfaces and indoor/outdoor lot conditions Edit raw footage into finished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro Color correct footage, mix basic audio, and format final videos for their intended use (web, social media, or broadcast) Travel to filming locations as needed, including some out-of-town shoots Work nights and weekends when a project deadline requires it Back up and organize all raw and edited footage Care for and safely transport camera and editing equipment Work with the marketing and sales team on shot lists and creative direction before each shoot Deliver finished videos on schedule What You Need Bachelor's degree (BA) in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field Automotive video experience required — prior work filming or editing vehicle, dealership, or automotive industry content Hands-on experience shooting video with professional camera equipment, including Nikon and/or RED camera systems Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro A demo reel or portfolio showing recent automotive video work A valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel for shoots Willingness to work nights and weekends when needed Ability to lift and carry camera equipment (up to 40 lbs) Nice to Have Experience working with a dealership, dealer group, or automotive marketing team Experience with color grading Experience with Adobe After Effects or basic motion graphics Experience recording and mixing audio on location Your own camera or editing equipment
