Job Description

About the Role We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Videographer / Studio Manager / Editor to join our growing media team. This person will be responsible for the full video production pipeline—managing the studio environment, filming high-quality long-form content, editing for maximum engagement, and managing two YouTube channels. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and creatively sharp, with a strong understanding of YouTube content and workflows. Our content focuses on Bitcoin, Macro Economics, and Business, so we're looking for someone who can make complex topics feel visually dynamic, clear, and fast-paced. Key Responsibilities Studio Management
  • Maintain the studio and all gear: ensure cameras, batteries, lights, and audio equipment are fully charged, functional, and organized
  • Manage and maintain all equipment, including Sony and Blackmagic cameras, lighting setups, tripods, & hard drives
  • Coordinate shoot prep, equipment inventory, and studio cleanliness Filming & Camera Operation
  • Operate Sony and Blackmagic cameras for long-form educational and podcast-style shoots
  • Set up lighting and audio for optimal quality
  • Frame shots intentionally using correct angles, focal lengths, and compositions
  • Travel occasionally to film lifestyle content (B-roll, behind-the-scenes, social clips for IG Stories, etc.) Video Editing & Post-Production
  • Edit long-form YouTube videos for two channels (educational + podcast) with a focus on viewer retention and pacing
  • Craft high-impact hooks in the first 5 seconds using motion, B-roll, text, and cuts
  • Use keyboard shortcuts and custom workflows to speed up post-production
  • Organize and store footage systematically on both Google Drive and local hard drives
  • Provide RAW footage and completed edits to the internal team in a timely manner Y ouTube Channel Management
  • Upload and schedule content for two YouTube channels
  • Write titles and create thumbnail ideas (especially for the podcast channel)
  • Add descriptions with tracking links, chapters, and metadata
  • Use Notion to schedule and manage content releases and asset sharing Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience operating Sony and Blackmagic cameras
  • Strong knowledge of lighting, audio, and Blackmagic ATEM switcher
  • Excellent understanding of camera composition, angles, and lens choices
  • Highly organized with efficient media management (Google Drive, hard drives, folder structures)
  • Skilled in YouTube-style editing, including pacing, retention hooks, and storytelling
  • Speed and efficiency in post-production using keyboard shortcuts and streamlined workflows
  • Familiarity with YouTube's backend (uploads, scheduling, metadata, and optimization)
  • Ability to film and edit lifestyle and social content on the go Software Requirements
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Final Cut Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve (Candidates must be proficient in at least one) Preferred Qualifications
  • Background or Interest in business/finance/macro YouTube content
  • Basic graphic design or motion graphics experience (e.g., for titles or lower-thirds)
  • Comfortable setting up short-form shoots or capturing mobile content during travel
