Job Description

Eagle Communications is hiring a Part-Time Sports Broadcast Videographer to support our high school football and basketball broadcasts. This newly combined role includes operating cameras on-site, monitoring and assisting with live streams, setting up and breaking down gear, and helping ensure a smooth, professional broadcast for fans watching from home. If you enjoy high school sports, want hands-on video experience, or are interested in media production, this is a great opportunity to be part of a fun, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities Videography:
Operate camera equipment and laptop for live sports broadcasts Follow gameplay and maintain smooth, accurate shots Set up and break down camera gear before and after games Capture high-quality, professional video coverage
Broadcast & Stream Support:
Operate computer systems and streaming software during broadcasts Monitor stream quality, video feed, and system performance Assist with troubleshooting basic technical issues Communicate closely with the producer and broadcast team Schedule Requirements Fridays during football season (August-November), including home and away games Tuesdays and Fridays during basketball season (December-March) Tournament weeks and post-season games as needed Some Saturdays required Transportation to all away games is provided Qualifications Basic camera, video, or streaming software experience preferred (training provided) Ability to follow fast-paced action and stay focused for long periods Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to take direction Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working outdoors in football weather conditions Must be 16 years of age or older Perks Be part of the excitement of high school sports Transportation to all away games provided Valuable hands-on experience in broadcast media Supportive and enthusiastic production team Eligible for paid ride time and meal provided on away-game travel days Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Eligible for 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) upon meeting requirements Additional Information Applications will be accepted until the position is filled Eagle Communications is an Employee-Owned company and an EEO employer Selected candidates must pass a criminal history background check and motor vehicle check
