Job Description

Jocasta Designs Studio Films is currently seeking passionate, creative, and reliable film crew members for upcoming short films and future productions. We are building a collaborative team of industry professionals and emerging talent who are eager to grow with an independent production studio. About the Studio Jocasta Designs Studio Films is currently under construction as we develop our physical studio space. While our facility is being built, all meetings, auditions, and production planning will be conducted virtually until the studio officially opens.
Current Project:
Jocasta's Life Journey We are actively recruiting volunteers for our upcoming short film Jocasta's Life Journey . This project is designed to provide hands-on experience, creative collaboration, and professional exposure within an independent film production.
Volunteers will receive:
On-screen or production credit Industry exposure Portfolio-building experience Networking opportunities within the film industry Paid Opportunities All additional film projects beyond Jocasta's Life Journey will be paid, project-based positions. Compensation will be issued upon completion of each project. Paid opportunities are planned for upcoming productions beginning in 2027. What We're Looking For We are currently hiring (on a volunteer and future paid basis): Camera operators Assistant directors Lighting technicians Sound engineers Production assistants Editors Important Information Studio is currently under construction All communication and meetings will be conducted virtually or in office until further notice Volunteers for Jocasta's Life Journey will receive credit and exposure only Paid roles will be offered for future projects based on experience and performance If you are passionate about storytelling and want to be part of a growing production studio, we welcome you to join us on this journey. Requirements Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe After Effects Experience with filming techniques and videography best practices Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and InDesign is highly desirable Familiarity with post-production processes like color correction, sound editing, and visual effects integration Ability to operate professional filming equipment confidently and safely Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills in film production environments Join us if you're passionate about storytelling through film and eager to grow your expertise in a vibrant production setting!
