Job Description

Giant Center is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena, and hosts an impressive line-up of star-studded performances and events. Action-packed Hershey Bears hockey games, thrilling live entertainment, and one-of-a-kind events are a day in the life of our Hersheypark Entertainment Complex team members at Hersheypark, Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, or Hershey Theatre Great Save Productions is responsible for all video production at GIANT Center and various other Entertainment Group needs; including but not limited to all Hershey Bears hockey home games. This is a contracted position. As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID! Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Positions within the Video Event Production Crew must be able to operate a professional HD camera
  • Experience in a professional sports TV production environment
  • Completing other miscellaneous projects and tasks that may arise
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a professional video production environment, preferably in live event/sport productions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to have a creative eye and capture quick movements Knowledge and passion for hockey Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be innovative and be self-motivated to complete tasks Photoshop and Professional Character Generator experience a plus Displaying a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
Job Demands:
Majority of video event productions will be completed inside the GIANT Center; however, this position does require working in all weather elements Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; including most
HERSHEY BEARS
Hockey Games Ability to lift and carry cameras, cable, and other video equipment Must be able to lift 40 lbs. independently Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time Ability to operate a hand held camera for extended periods of time Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
