Job Description

Please send your application to [Please reply using Staff Me Up] Brave New Films is looking to hire a strong documentary-style videographer to film a July 4 event and march in Philadelphia. We're looking for someone comfortable covering a live, fast-moving public event with a vérité / documentary approach. Coverage will include march footage, crowd energy, speakers, signage, short interviews, natural sound, and strong visual moments throughout the day.

Events and marches are slated throughout the day — full-day availability required
Location:
Starts At Philadelphia City Hall, 1400 John F Kennedy Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA Ideal candidate has: Experience filming protests, rallies, marches, live events, or documentary field shoots Strong handheld / run-and-gun shooting ability Ability to capture clean audio in a loud outdoor environment Good instincts for emotional, cinematic, people-centered coverage Ability to work independently and upload footage promptly after the shoot Please apply with your gear list, rate, and confirmation that you are available in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 4.
