Job Description
Strive Marketing is looking for a skilled Cinematographer/Videographer to join our team. We're looking for a visual storyteller with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and camera work — someone who can walk onto a client site and capture footage that looks professional and performs. Speed still matters here. We believe in aggressive, data-driven creative testing and rapid iteration, so while we want strong production values, we also need someone who understands that a fast, authentic clip can outperform an over-produced one. If you need three weeks to shoot and deliver a single project, this role isn't the right fit.
Key Responsibilities Pre-Production Planning & Logistics:
Scout and coordinate shoot locations, build shot lists, and plan logistics (scheduling, permits, equipment needs, travel) ahead of each shoot.Scripting & Concepting:
Help develop scripts, shot concepts, and storyboards for interviews, b-roll, and campaign-specific content.Production On-Location Shooting:
Travel to client sites to capture high-quality video and photo assets — interviews, b-roll of heavy machinery/trucks, team headshots, and action shots.National Travel:
Travel to client sites across the US at least twice a month. All travel expenses (flights, hotels, gas) are covered by Strive Marketing.Drone Cinematography:
Capture aerial footage of client projects and locations.Direction:

Operate and maintain camera, lighting, and audio equipment to a professional standard.Creative Support & Strategy Asset Delivery:
Hand off organized, well-shot, color-graded footage for the team to cut into short-form ads (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), website headers, YouTube content, and social assets.Color Grading:
Color grade footage to ensure a consistent, polished look across client deliverables.Editing:
Strong editing abilities expected — able to cut and deliver finished footage when needed. Be theFace:
Eventually, be comfortable stepping in front of the camera for the Strive Marketing YouTube channel and social media. Who You Are A Cinematographer atHeart:
You prioritize strong visual storytelling — composition, lighting, movement, and color — and know how to get a great shot efficiently. Tech Agnostic butProficient:
We provide the gear, but you need to be a master of your chosen tools to ensure speed and quality on set and in post. We are also open to using your own gear, if preferred.Organized:
You can manage footage from multiple clients without losing track of files.Marketing-Minded:
Basic understanding of digital marketing, Meta advertising, and what impacts conversion rate — you shoot and edit with performance in mind, not just aesthetics.Preferences Drone Pilot:
