You will handle the creative process from concept through filming and editing. We want someone who can capture beautifully presented food and cocktails, the atmosphere of our space, and the energy of our dining events and nightlife—creating content that makes people want to visit. Our creative references include Instagram pages @reserve.nyc and @newyork_bars Applicants should be comfortable creating original restaurant and event content with a similar level of visual polish. Responsibilities Plan, film, and edit Instagram Reels and other short-form videos. Capture food, cocktails, hookah, interiors, guest experiences, DJs, and event highlights. Create promotional content for happy hour, themed dinners, weekend events, and special offers. Develop fresh concepts, shot lists, and attention-grabbing video openings. Edit footage with strong pacing, music, transitions, captions, and consistent color. Capture photos and vertical clips for Instagram posts and Stories. Coordinate shoots with management and staff while working around restaurant service. Deliver finished content on agreed deadlines and organize footage for future use. Collaborate with management on a consistent content schedule. Qualifications A portfolio demonstrating restaurant, lounge, hospitality, nightlife, or event content. Strong filming and editing skills, with an eye for lighting, composition, and detail. Ability to capture attractive footage in dim lighting and busy environments. Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software. Ability to develop creative ideas independently and execute them from start to finish. Reliable communication, punctuality, and timely delivery. Availability for on-site shoots in Washington, DC, including select evenings and weekends. Access to suitable filming equipment, whether a professional camera setup or a high-quality smartphone with supporting lighting and stabilization. Preferred Experience Food and cocktail close-ups, venue walkthroughs, and event recap videos. Content creation for upscale restaurants or hospitality brands. Promotional content that encourages reservations, event attendance, and visits. Growth Opportunities As part of our hospitality group, you may have the opportunity to create content across multiple locations, lead larger campaigns, and take on additional creative and marketing responsibilities based on performance and business needs.
