This position will support the creation of high-quality video and photo content to enhance the department's digital presence, fan engagement, and brand storytelling. The Graduate Assistant will report directly to the Director of Creative & Video Production. Key Responsibilities Assist in brainstorming and developing creative content ideas for social media, website, and in-venue videoboards Capture video and photo content at games, practices, interviews, and special events Edit video content for distribution across APSU Athletics platforms Support live event coverage and in-game content creation Travel to all football road games along with select road games for additional athletics programs Collaborate with marketing, communications, ticket sales, and development to support strategic initiatives Contribute to creative concepts that drive fan engagement and revenue generation Assist in providing consistent coverage across 17 NCAA Division I sport programs Assist in mentoring, training, and developing undergraduate interns, including providing feedback and guidance on shoots and edits
Essential Functions:
Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations, the University community, media outlets and the public. Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet assigned deadlines. Ability to exhibit knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Bridge Flexibility to work nights and weekends as assigned. Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills (telephone and interpersonal). Attendance and punctuality are essential to this position.
