Internship Summary:

The Danville Baseball Club is home to one of Virginia's most exciting summer baseball brands: the Danville Otterbots (proud members of the Appalachian League powered by Major League Baseball and USA Baseball). Located in Danville, Virginia, the organization's mission is to provide unforgettable, community-driven entertainment while delivering the highest standard of fan experience. The Videographer Intern will produce video content that brings game days and stadium entertainment to life across social and digital platforms.

Internship Goals:

Learn how video content drives fan engagement for a small-market sports organization. Gain hands-on experience shooting and editing sports videography, stadium entertainment, and fan and hospitality moments. Develop a working relationship with the social media and graphic design teams to deliver on the marketing calendar.

Full-time summer internship from Mid-May to the beginning of August. Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in film, communications, sports management, or a related field. Must be able to work all events and game days. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Own video equipment and editing software experience preferred.
