Job Description

LEAD VIDEOGRAPHER + QUALITY CONTROL LEAD
Location:
Charleston, West Virginia + Surrounding Areas (within ~1 hour)
Type:
Part-Time (15-25 Hours Per Week) with Path to
Full-Time Compensation:
$2,000/Month (Approximately $25 Per Hour to Start)
ABOUT JOE JUSTICE MEDIA
Joe Justice Media helps businesses, law firms, insurance agencies, service companies, real estate professionals, and local brands create high-quality video content that builds trust, generates leads, and grows their business. We are not looking for someone who simply presses record. We are looking for someone who can confidently run shoots, support clients on camera, keep projects organized, and become a key part of a growing video production company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and organizational side of video production and wants to grow into a larger leadership role over time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Film talking-head videos, testimonials, social media content, brand videos, and commercial content Operate camera, lighting, audio, and production equipment Help clients feel comfortable and confident on camera Guide clients through scripts, interview questions, and filming sessions Capture high-quality B-roll and supporting footage Organize, label, and upload footage after shoots Assist with quality control reviews before projects are delivered Review videos for: Audio quality Caption accuracy Brand consistency Formatting Pacing and flow Client-specific requirements Collaborate with editors and virtual assistants to keep projects moving Help write and organize scripts using AI tools such as ChatGPT (training provided) Assist with scheduling shoots and coordinating production logistics Support larger video projects as the company continues to grow
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Shoots run smoothly and professionally Clients feel comfortable and supported throughout filming Footage is organized and delivered quickly Editors receive clear instructions and clean footage Projects stay on schedule The owner spends less time filming and more time growing the business
WHO YOU ARE
Reliable and professional Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable communicating with clients Able to work independently without constant supervision Positive attitude and strong work ethic Comfortable around cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and production environments Excited to learn and grow with a company long-term
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
1-3+ years of videography or content production experience Strong communication skills Comfortable directing people on camera Dependable and punctual Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Reliable transportation Strong internet connection Willingness to travel throughout the Charleston area and surrounding communities

Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Drone operation Part 107 Drone License Social media content creation Commercial video production Interview-style filming Working with business owners and professional clients AI tools such as Chat
