Queens, NY What You'll Do:
Clear goods through customs and coordinate delivery to final destination Work directly with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouses, truckers, and customers to keep freight moving on time Track, trace, and proactively update customers on shipment status Verify customs clearance and freight release for shipment availability Classify goods using the tariff coding system and calculate duty/tariff payments Prepare import/export documentation in line with customs regulations Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, forwarders, and clients
What You Bring:
1+ year of experience in freight forwarding or customs clearance preferred (candidates with coursework in International Business, Supply Chain, or Transportation/Logistics also encouraged to apply) Fluent English required (read/write/speak) Bilingual in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a big plus
