Job Description
The Student Writing Assistant in the Writing Resource Center assists fellow student writers with writing and writing strategies. Work respectfully with all visitors Strong communicator and listener Work well in a stressful environment Be excited to constantly learn something new Be prepared to work with any style, format, or discipline of writing Work consists of one-on-one writing meetings in the WRC, but may also include facilitating writing workshops, offering classroom support, managing social media accounts, and/or working on other projects that benefit the growth of the WRC Filling out pre- and post-meeting paperwork, attending mandatory training, maintaining coffee and snack area, and opening and/or closing the WRC Other duties as assigned Must be a registered NCF student in good academic standing Must have satisfactorily passed the course Pedagogy in Practice/Writing Center Theory and Practice
