Job Description
Content/Copy Writer Position Summary We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content/Copy Writer to join our marketing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in digital marketing. You'll help create engaging content across web, email, and social, and make sure everything aligns with our brand standards. This role offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of digital marketing. Key Responsibilities Write, edit, and proofread content across web pages, email campaigns (including sequences), social media, blogs, guides, and FAQs Ensure all content follows established brand voice, messaging, and visual standards Assist with website content updates, audits, and ongoing maintenance through our CMS Assist with SEO basics: keyword usage, metadata, headings, and internal linking Support A/B testing and use basic analytics to see how content performs Stay informed on digital marketing trends and best practices, including AI tools that support the workflow Qualifications 0-2 years of writing experience (marketing, blogging, social, copywriting, internships, or university publications) Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Portfolio or writing samples showing range across formats and voice Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Familiarity with CMS platforms, email marketing tools, or social media management tools Preferred Skills Experience with Sitecore Basic understanding of SEO and email marketing principles What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and brand management Exposure to website management, email marketing, and customer journey development Opportunities for professional growth and skill development within a collaborative marketing team
