Job Description

Smoker Craft, Inc currently has an opening for a Bill of Material Writer ! This position works from our plant in New Paris, IN. This is NOT a remote position.
Position details are as follows:
Creates and maintains bills of material. Interprets and translates source document information to define product configurations and part requirements. Communicates with designers to ensure correct interpretation of design documentation. Supports completion of ECN bill of material and selection updates. Investigates identified implementation issues and processes feedback to update bill of material files. Communicates issue and/or project status updates to stakeholders in various levels of the organization. Completes other assignments as requested by BOM/Selection group supervisor.
Requirements:
Multi-tasking High level of initiative and demonstrated use of proactive problem solving Must be able to work with a diverse set of stakeholders and manage multiple tasks concurrently. Strong computer aptitude required; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with Syteline or other MRP software desired. Previous automotive and/or manufacturing experience/product knowledge a plus.
