Job Description

The Neosho Daily News is looking for a part-time sports writer to cover high school and local sports. Experience not necessary, will train the right person.

Applicants must:

Have working knowledge of school sports (football, basketball, softball, baseball, etc.) Know how to use an Apple computer/laptop and iPhones. Know how to type (using the traditional "home row"). Like to write and enjoy talking with people (coaches, players, etc.). Dependable transportation. Schedule of hours is flexible, working in the office as well as at some games.
