Overview
JOB PURPOSE
To assist customers with all aspects of slots, including machine problems, payment of jackpots, fills, and write Race and Sports tickets and provide Golden Nugget customers with racing and sporting information. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Assists with equipment problems such as jams, malfunctions, etc.
  • Identifies jackpots and fills, generating documents through on-line system; pays same to customers.
  • Interacts with customers in all areas, including information, explanation, etc.
  • Maintains assigned area in a neat and orderly fashion, including delivering and stocking supplies, removing glasses, rearranging chairs, etc.
  • Circulates assigned area at all times making sure that customers are being serviced.
  • Checks machine doors on an on-going basis.
  • Sign on ticket writing stations and write and cash both Race and Sports tickets for customers.
  • Keep up with scores and posting them accordingly on wallboards as they come over the wire service.
  • Assist customers and answer any questions they may have.
  • Stock betting stations with tickets.
  • Keep printer and ticket ribbon and paper in good working condition.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Qualifications Ability to work well with the public. Cash handling experience Good public relations skills; Basic computer knowledge helpful Basic knowledge of IRS and gaming regulations helpful. Minimum age requirement is 21 BENEFITS
