1+ year of Customs Brokerage experience Supply Chain / Logistics industry experience Experience handling documentation and data entry processes Candidates without customs brokerage experience will still be considered if they have: Strong Excel skills Excellent attention to detail Data entry/document processing experience Role Overview The CHB Delivery Associate is responsible for coordinating and executing shipments while ensuring customer service levels and operational requirements are met daily. This role supports assigned client accounts by managing shipments from start to finish, becoming familiar with client import programs and products, and coordinating file processing with internal teams and external partners. A major focus of this role will be: Downloading and reviewing documents Uploading documents Entering shipment information into systems/spreadsheets Ensuring accuracy and compliance Attention to detail is critical , as errors in documentation or data entry can create compliance issues and put the client at risk. Key Responsibilities Customs House Brokerage Operations Manage CHB operations services for assigned customers Provide customer service and respond to client questions and requests Process Customs entries and OGA (Other Government Agency) clearances Open entry files and process entries according to established KPIs Coordinate shipment releases with: Freight forwarders Steamship lines Airlines Other transportation partners Track and trace inbound shipments Coordinate delivery of shipments from: Airlines Ocean piers Container Freight Stations (CFS) Customer destinations Documentation & Data Management Download, review, and upload shipment documentation Enter and maintain accurate shipment data Review entry documentation to ensure compliance with government regulations Maintain customer SOPs and update documentation as needed Complete required reports and billing documentation Ensure timely and accurate file processing Compliance Responsibilities Ensure compliance with government agencies including: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) FDA Department of Agriculture EPA FCC Other regulatory agencies Responsibilities include: Reviewing documentation accuracy Supporting PGA processing/coordination Coordinating exams when required Completing compliance audits as needed Systems & Technology Preferred experience: Customs brokerage systems CW1 (CargoWise One) CMUS Microsoft Excel Required Experience & Skills 6-12 months of industry experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills High attention to detail, especially under pressure Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to independently drive issues to resolution Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
