Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join our logistics and supply chain operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate customs documentation to facilitate the smooth clearance of goods across international borders. Your expertise in customs regulations, trade compliance, and regulatory reporting will ensure our company maintains full compliance with all relevant laws and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of global trade management software, freight processes, and transportation safety regulations, contributing to efficient import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review customs entries, ensuring accuracy in classification, valuation, and documentation Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to coordinate customs clearance procedures Maintain compliance with international trade regulations, including FDA regulations and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) guidelines Monitor shipments for regulatory compliance management and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly Utilize global trade management software and Excel data analysis tools to track shipments, generate reports, and analyze data trends Ensure adherence to transportation safety regulations and logistics compliance standards Assist in regulatory reporting requirements related to customs clearance and import/export activities Support risk management initiatives by identifying potential compliance issues and implementing corrective actions Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, export management policies, and supply chain best practices Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements for efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Proven experience in customs brokerage management, import/export operations, or related logistics roles Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, including FDA regulations, OFAC compliance, and transportation safety standards Proficiency with global trade management software and Excel data analysis tools Familiarity with customs clearance management systems and regulatory compliance management practices Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail in documentation processes Ability to interpret complex customs regulations and ensure compliance across diverse jurisdictions Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously Technical proficiency in logistics software solutions and transportation management systems Knowledge of freight procedures, export management processes, and fleet management principles is a plus If you are committed to ensuring regulatory compliance while optimizing logistics operations through technical expertise and proactive risk management, we encourage you to apply.
