We are looking for a driven, well organized Architectural Specifications Writer to grow with our team. As an Architectural Specifications Writer (Remote or Hybrid), you will develop project specifications and provide technical advice to architecture teams throughout the design and construction process. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working on large-scale, technically complex, multi-phase projects, specifying both interiors and exteriors, with exceptional communication skills and writing abilities, and a desire to be an effective collaborator and contributor to multiple project teams. You will also develop and maintain relationships with product representatives, act as a resource for teams to connect them with manufacturers and assist teams with product and system research. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited Architecture school.
- Minimum of 10 years of applicable professional experience with at least 5 years of experience in specifications development.
- Focus on Life Sciences projects with specific experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing projects
- demonstrating ability to support an architectural team throughout the project from design through construction.
- Technical knowledge with a solid understanding of construction detailing and constructability.
- Command of building codes and other regulatory requirements.
- Experience assisting with construction administration activities
- responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
- Ability to coordinate within a multi-disciplinary team structure
- including engaging virtually with team members in different geographic locations.
- Proficiency with MS Teams, MS Office applications (OneNote, Word, Excel, etc.), and Bluebeam Revu.
- United States Citizen. Preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and cGMP requirements.
- Experience with Deltek AIA MasterSpec
- Experience with LEED and/or other sustainable certification systems.
- Professional architecture degree.
- Registered Architect with current license.
- Familiarity with Revit.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office
- although a fully remote situation will also be considered.

- Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities; coordinating work with engineering disciplines and specialty consultants; independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- speaking, writing, listening.
- Ability to contribute to the development of new ideas, techniques, and standards.
- Involvement in professional and/or community associations.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and Revizto.
- LEED AP or Green Associate credential
- CSI CDT or CCS certification #LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience, #Construction #LI-SH1
