Design Engineer

We are looking for a motivated individual to begin an exciting career in residential and commercial design at our land development civil engineering firm in Winder, GA. While our projects span many areas of Georgia, we primarily focus on Barrow, Walton, and Jackson counties. Our clients range from top Atlanta builders to local developers in smaller towns. We recently relocated to a newly remodeled building in downtown Winder. We pride ourselves on fostering a relaxed work environment with flexible hours. Employees will be assigned projects but will also have opportunities to specialize in aspects of design they are most passionate about, such as septic system developments or mass-graded sewer designs.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, utilizing tools like surfaces, profiles, corridors, and optimizations to design and prepare complete civil plan sets. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Utility layouts Roadway design Storm sewer and sanitary sewer systems Erosion control and grading Hydrology reports This position is 100% design focused and will be expected to bring a project from start to finish. Occasional site visits may also be required.
