Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals by providing patient care, performing clinical tasks, and ensuring efficient operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for examination Record patient history and vital signs Assist physicians during examinations and procedures Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for testing Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records (EHR) Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and medical equipment Provide patient education and follow-up instructions Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and billing
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures CPR certification is a plus
