Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting end users, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining computer systems, hardware, and software in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, customer service-focused, and interested in building a career in Information Technology. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices Assist employees with troubleshooting computer, network, and system-related issues Set up, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals Install and update software applications and operating systems Help maintain the inventory of equipment and accessories Document technical issues, resolutions, and support requests through ticketing systems Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access requests Support conference room technology and audiovisual equipment as needed Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when assisting users Perform additional administrative support tasks as assigned Requirements Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Customer service experience or technical support experience is a plus What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in a professional IT environment Exposure to desktop support operations and end-user support processes Opportunity to develop technical troubleshooting and communication skills Mentorship from experienced IT professionals
