• Desktop Support Technician will deliver, install, configure, and support of laptops across various TDOT locations.

You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient deployment of technology assets while maintaining a high level of customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Deliver, install, and configure computers Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and status Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely Follow safety procedures and best practices during deployment activities Communicate effectively with end users and team members Maintain organization and cleanliness of deployment storage areas Travel to different TDOT sites as required, including travel across the state of Tennessee (travel expenses will be reimbursed by state guidelines)

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

3+ years of professional experience providing with IT deployments and hardware installations (stable work history) 3+ years of experience delivering, installing, configuring, supporting computers and laptops Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Education:

High school diploma

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift, push, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during deployments Valid driver s license and reliable transportation, able to travel across the State of Tennessee == ==
